Founded by Scott C. Plein in 1999, EQUINOX Investments, LLC is a professional real estate investment, development and management company located in Chantilly, Virginia. Our mission is to be a Northern Virginia focused entity with a primary interest in entitling well conceived communities, while continuing to develop and manage its various existing projects. We also have the ability to help other developers facilitate the development of their project.

Over the past 10 years, EQUINOX has been successful in increasing both the size and scope of the developments it has been instrumental in creating. We have entitled over 1,500 residential homes in this time period, and created opportunities for over 500,000 square feet of office space, and 200,000 square feet of retail space. Our entitlement success has been made possible by our commitment to working with those communities which exist around each EQUINOX project.

EQUINOX prides itself in not only understanding, but listening to the needs of its community neighbors, including their sensitivity to traffic patterns, needed road improvements, environmental features, educational infrastructure and recreational needs, as well as the general context and feel of each respective community that an EQUINOX project influences.
 
EQUINOX first and foremost asks the question, "How can our project enhance the community of which our project will become a part of?"
