Equinox Investments, LLC is a Northern Virginia-based real estate investment, development and management company headquartered in Prince William County, Virginia. We specialize in the entitlement, development, and management of well conceived communities and assist other developers in the entitlement and development of their projects.
Founded in 1999 by Scott C. Plein and William M. "Mack" Smith, Equinox prides itself in not only understanding, but listening to the needs of our community neighbors, including their sensitivity to traffic patterns, needed road improvements, environmental features, educational infrastructure and recreational needs, as well as the general 'look and feel' of each respective community that an Equinox project influences.
Since our inception, Equinox has entitled more than 1,900 residential units and created opportunities for more than 500,000 square feet of office space and 200,000 square feet of retail space. Our entitlement success has been made possible by our commitment to working closely with the communities that exist in and around our projects and applying collaborative land use planning techniques to each project.
